ALOJAMIENTO RURAL. BARRERAS A LA IMPLANTACIÓN Y CERTIFICACIÓN DE LA “Q DE CALIDAD TURÍSTICA”

Resumen


El objetivo de este artículo es analizar las barreras que han encontrado losestablecimientos de alojamiento rural en su proceso de implementación ycertificación de la marca “Q de Calidad Turística” (Sistema de Gestión de laCalidad). Una vez realizada la revisión teórica, la metodología empleadaconsiste en un análisis descriptivo de las barreras a superar por las empresasen su proceso de implantación, así como la realización de un análisis T deStudent con la finalidad de determinar si existen diferencias en las barrerasencontradas dependiendo del tamaño las mismas medido este por el número dehabitaciones, y la antigüedad en la certificación. En segundo lugar aplicamosun análisis factorial con la finalidad de determinar la estructura de dichas barreras.El estudio empírico fue llevado a cabo en 100 alojamientos rurales en Españacertificados con la marca “Q de Calidad Turística”.Losresultados obtenidos ponen de manifiesto que las barreras más importantes a lasque se han enfrentado los alojamientos rurales fueron principalmente la faltade tiempo para dedicar a las tareas de calidad, no alcanzar los beneficiosesperados, recursos insuficientes y el tener un enfoque a corto plazo. ABSTRACT: The aim of this paper is to analyze the barriers that have found the tourismindustry in the process of implementation and certification of mark “Q forTourist Quality” (Quality Management System). After the theoretical review, themethodology consists of a descriptive analysis of the barriers to be overcomeby companies in the process of implementation, as well as an analysis T- testin order to determine whether there were differences barriers encountered dependingon the size the same measured this by the number of rooms, and length ofcertification. Secondly we apply a factor analysis in order todetermine the structure of barriers. The empirical study was conducted in 100rural accommodation in Spain certified under the “Q for Tourist Quality”.Theresults show that the most important barriers that have faced the companieswere mainly lack of time to devote to the tasks of quality, not achieve theexpected benefits, insufficient resources and having a short-term approach.
